When Carter's reached out to me to collaborate on a sponsored project I was so incredibly excited! As you guys know, I'm pretty picky about the collaborations I actually do - not just because of my super limited "blogging" time but also because I really do cherish my own voice and don't want it to get drowned out in a sea of ads. So whenever I say yes it has to be a brand that I already love. And Carter's is definitely one of them.
Whenever new moms ask me about reliable clothing brands for their new little ones in emails or private messages, my answer is always the same - Carter's. For reals. As I was scrolling through pictures of my girls I realized that at least 75% of our clothes is from them - it was so hard picking photos to share in this post! The girls are wearing Carter's in every single picture in this post!

You see, I never like to make assumptions about people's budgets, so when I make recommendations I try to shy away from brands that are prohibitively expensive, but I also shy away from obviously "cheap" stuff as well. It's a hard balance, but Carter's has it perfected - their pieces are so incredibly affordable (so much so that I don't feel bad sending my grandmother a gift idea for the girls that includes their pieces because I know even she can afford it without making a sacrifice)! But price aside, they also make quality, and just downright adorable pieces. Nothing has made my mama heart more happy than putting Elli in one of Liv's old pajamas - even 2+ years and multiple washes later. And even with Liv, as big as she's getting (she's now in 3T sizes), I can always find cute and comfortable clothes - I've loved that even in larger sizes their clothing is still dependable. This is about to be Liv's entire Miami wardrobe haha!! Seriously, and I'd love it all in my size too!

A few tips for new mamas? Depending on the time of year/temperature where you live, you'll likely find that you dress your little in the same type of easy clothing - in summer months it's literally just a short-sleeve bodysuit, and for the colder months (like when Elli was born), it's mostly zip-up footie pajamas. Spend most of your money on these - you'd be surprised how many outfit changes you go through each day with diaper accidents and spit up! Of course it's fun to have a couple of cute outfits that are a bit more complicated for special occasions, but trust when I say you will appreciate the simplicity of a one-zip pajamas or a few snaps on a bodysuit for the rest of the time!

Carter’s partnered with me for this post to help promote their Little Baby Basics line, which features items just like this and makes for the perfect gift (and some even come in an adorable gift box). They sent me a box as part of the collaboration and it was the sweetest! Some pieces from the collection are below! Pretty much every other photo shared here is of pieces purchased myself (or more likely my mother purchased haha, if anyone loves them more than I do it's her lol)!
And I'm not sure if this is widely promoted or not, or if I'll get in trouble for sharing it (hope not but I love to share all the sweet deals!), but my mom is a faithful Wednesday in-store shopper at the Carter's near her job. You see, they actually have a "grandparent Wednesdays" promotion where grandparents get a pretty sweet discount on their entire purchase in store! I'm not sure if every store participates in this promotion but it's certainly worth looking into!

I'm also offering a lucky reader a $100 Carter's gift card! Which is huge, because at their prices you really can almost buy an entire mini-wardrobe! Enter using the rafflecopter widget below! Crossing my fingers for you, but even if you don't win, the prices are hard to beat! And in celebration of the Little Baby Basics line here's a coupon that can be used online or instore for 20% your entire purchase!
